Jodhpur. For effective implementation of the Central Government’s flagship scheme ‘PM Surya Ghar: Free Power Scheme’, a one -day and two -day solar training program is being run by Jodhpur Discom under the guidance of officials of the Union Ministry of Energy and Principal Secretary (Energy) of the Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with NPTI (National Power Training Institute). This training has been organized to provide technical and practical information of grid connected roftop solar system.
So far, more than 800 engineers, technicians and official personnel of various circles of Jodhpur Discom have been trained. Permanent as well as contract personnel have been included in this program so that the effective benefit of the scheme can be transported to the final consumer quickly.
Dr. Bhanwarlal, Managing Director of Jodhpur Discom, said that this training is a strong initiative towards the efficiency manufacturing and strengthening of consumer service. The training is giving detailed information about the functioning of rooftop solar system, grid synchronization, safety measures, installation process and subsidy related rules, procedures.
Technical team contributed
Discom’s technical team, engineer and regional technicians are participating in the training, which is a sign of the organized work culture and teamwork of Jodhpur Discom. This collective effort will ensure solar installation with boom, quality and transparency at the field level.
