New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, trapped in a money laundering case related to liquor policy, has not received any relief at present. Rouse Avenue Court has now sent him to judicial custody till April 15. After this, Kejriwal will be taken directly from the court to Tihar Jail. According to the information received, preparations have started for Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail.
Arvind Kejriwal will be kept in barrack number 5 or 2 in Tihar Jail. Just a few days ago, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh has been shifted from jail number 2 to jail number 5. Manish Sisodia has been kept in jail number 1. Jail number 2 mostly houses convicted prisoners. Undertrial prisoners aged between 18 to 20 years are kept in jail number 5.

Asked permission for 3 books
Arvind Kejriwal’s lawyers have applied to allow Kejriwal to read three books. These books include Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana and ‘How Prime Ministers Decide’ written by journalist Neerja Chaudhary.

As soon as the sun rises in the morning, the cells and barracks of the prisoners are opened. Tea and bread are served for breakfast at around 6.30 am. After taking bath, if he has to go to court or have a meeting, he gets ready for it. Around 10.30 and 11 am, one dal, vegetable and 5 rotis, the prisoner who does not want to eat roti can take rice. Then it is closed from 12 noon to 3 pm.
Then the prisoners are released at 3 pm. Then at 3.30 tea and 2 biscuits are given. Then around 4 pm, if anyone wants to meet a lawyer, they can do so. Then dinner is served at 5.30 pm, which consists of 1 dal, vegetable and 5 rotis, rice for those who do not take roti. Then at 6:30 or 7 o’clock when the sun sets, all the prisoners are locked in the cells. Prisoners can also watch TV from 5 am to 11 pm. In which 18 to 20 channels can be seen, this includes channels of news, entertainment, sports etc. If anyone has any physical problem in the jail, doctors are available all the time.
