Governor Mangubhai Patel’s address
MP Assembly Budget Session: Bhopal (State Bureau). The budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin from Monday. It will start with the address of Governor Mangubhai Patel. The audience galleries will remain open in this session being held after the Corona restrictions are lifted. Admission will be given in limited numbers only. The system of investigation of corona infection will remain as before.
Due to Corona, the Assembly Secretariat had kept the audience galleries closed.
Till now the Assembly Secretariat had kept the audience galleries closed due to Corona infection. Entry of outsiders was banned and the staff of ministers were also being given limited admit cards.
Arrangements for corona investigation were kept in the dispensary
Principal Secretary of the Assembly AP Singh said that after the corona is under control and the government has removed all the restrictions, it has been decided that the visitors’ galleries will be opened but the entry will be limited for now. Arrangements for corona related investigation have been kept in the dispensary. Temperature taking and sanitizer have been arranged at all the entrances. Physical distancing will also be ensured.
Business Advisory Committee will meet
Before the commencement of the proceedings of the House, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee will be held under the chairmanship of Speaker Girish Gautam at 10.30 am. In this, those subjects will be discussed which are to be discussed in the House. Senior MLAs including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Leader of Opposition Kamal Nath will be present in the meeting.
There will be 13 meetings, MLAs put 4,518 questions
There will be a total of 13 sittings in the budget session which will run till March 25. The budget for the financial year 2022-23 will be presented by the government on March 9. Four thousand 518 questions have been put by the MLAs for the session.
