MP Board Exam 2022: Gwalior, Naidunia Representative. The evaluation work of the board examination copies of the Board of Secondary Education gathered pace on the second day. On the first day of the evaluation work which started on Saturday, 2191 copies were checked. 9219 copies were checked on Sunday. A total of 11410 copies have been evaluated in two days, out of which 6592 are for class 10th and 4818 for class 12th.
A total of 1.5 lakh copies are to be evaluated in the district in 20 days. However, on the second day also, the sequence of absenteeism of the teachers engaged in the evaluation work continued. On Sunday, 321 teachers were given the responsibility to check the copies of class 10th, but out of these only 208 teachers appeared. 113 teachers did not reach for this work. Similarly, out of 299 teachers for class 12th, only 147 teachers were present. Of these, 152 teachers remained absent. A total of 265 teachers who were absent from duty will be issued notices and summoned. If the reply is not found satisfactory, action can be taken against them ranging from suspension to withholding of increment.
1818 candidates appeared in the teacher eligibility test: The Primary Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board was conducted on Sunday at seven centers in the district. The exam was conducted in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5:30 pm. 1315 candidates were to appear in each shift, but 899 in morning shift and 919 in second shift appeared in the examination. During this, 416 candidates remained absent in the first shift and 396 in the second shift. During this, the candidates were asked to reach the center one hour before the scheduled time. During the examination, the candidates were seated leaving one seat. Security arrangements were also kept tight to ensure that no untoward situation was created at the centres.
