Jaipur. As part of the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Jan Abhiyan, public representatives and BJP workers led by MP Manju Sharma performed shramdaan at Ramgarh Dam. During this, MP Manju Sharma said that Ramgarh dam will soon be full. The full focus of both our central and state governments focuses on this. This dam was a picnic spot of Jaipur, this dam will soon come to its old state and everyone will come here to celebrate the picnic again. MP Manju Sharma said that the people of Jaipur are attached to the Ramgarh dam, they are doing shramdaan. He informed that the government has created a Ramjal Setu project to bring water from Israda dam to Ramgarh dam. On completion of which this dam will again develop as a tourist destination. MP Manju Sharma said that on the call of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Vande Ganga Water Conservation Public Abhiyan is going on for conservation and cleanliness of water sources across the state. Under this, BJP workers along with public representatives are participating in this virtuous work with the common man. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma started this campaign to Gangadashami. During this, shramdaan was done by the public representatives and the public in the Ramgand Dam.
The issue of Ramgarh dam was raised 2 times in Lok Sabha:
MP Manju Sharma said that he raised the issue of Ramgarh dam on 19 March this year and 21 May this year during the discussion on grant demands in the Lok Sabha. After this, on 22 May, there was a strong demand to fill Ramgarh by discussing with Union Water Minister CR Patil.
MP Manju Sharma along with Mayor Soumya Gurjar, Deputy Chairman Puneet Karnavat, BJP leader Ravi Nayar, Chandramohan Batwada, BJP Jaipur City District President Amit Goel along with a large number of councilors, BJP leaders and officials reached Ramgarh dam.
MLA Mahendrapal Meena welcomed him there and performed shramdaan with him. During this time, people welcomed Jaipur’s daughter Manju Sharma from place to place. Pushpavarsha was done in many places and shawls, scarf and safes were worn.
