MP Reservation in Pomotion: Bhopal (State Bureau). The hearing of the reservation case in promotion is once again starting. The Supreme Court is commencing hearing from March 30. It is expected that the decision will come in April. During the hearing, the state government, scheduled caste and general category employees will present their side in the court. It is to be known that since May 2016, the matter of reservation in promotion for the employees of the state is pending in the Supreme Court, hence the promotion of the employees has been stopped. During this period, about 80,000 employees have retired without promotion.
Recently, the Supreme Court has decided the issues while delivering its verdict in the reservation case in promotion. Now on the basis of these issues, the central and state governments will take a decision regarding promotion. The Supreme Court has started hearing in respect of the central government, while the hearing in the case of Madhya Pradesh is starting from March 30. During this, the data of Madhya Pradesh will be presented in the court. After its analysis, the decision will come in the context of the state. It is noteworthy that according to the scale set by the Supreme Court regarding the data of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), Madhya Pradesh is fully prepared.
ICP Keshari will be retired, Manoj Govil will be promoted
– Special Director General Aruna Mohan Rao will also retire this month
Bhopal (State Bureau). Two big officers of the state will retire this month. The 1988 batch IAS officer Additional Chief Secretary ICP Keshari and Special Director General Aruna Mohan Rao will retire on March 31. On the retirement of Keshari, the 1991 batch officer Principal Secretary Finance Manoj Govil will be promoted to the post of Additional Chief Secretary.
Officials of the General Administration Department said that except Alka Upadhyay, all the officers of the 1990 batch have become Additional Chief Secretaries. Upadhyay is on central deputation since October 2016, so Manoj Govil, a 1991 batch officer, will get a chance to be promoted. At the same time, Shamimuddin, a 2008 batch officer, will also retire. On the other hand, Transport Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Jain will be promoted on the post which will be vacant due to the retirement of Special Director General Aruna Mohan Rao.
