Meanwhile, BJP and Shiv Sena leaders also criticized Munawar for this comment and gave him an ultimatum. However, seeing the controversy growing, Munawar Faruqui publicly apologized through social media.

Earlier, BJP leader Nitesh Rane shared Munavvar’s video on social media and wrote in a strict tone, this green snake will have to go home and tell how the people of Konkan are. At the same time, Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction leader Samadhan Sarwankar also shared Munavvar’s video on his social media account and warned. Sarwankar wrote, if Munavvar Farooqui does not apologize to the people of the Konkani community for his abusive words, then wherever Pakistan-loving Munavvar is seen, he will be trampled there.

Sarwankar warned that if Munawar Faruqui did not apologize, then whoever beats him will be given a reward of Rs 1 lakh. Samadhan Sarwankar wrote, this is the kind of language spoken about the Konkani people, who are known for welcoming and hospitality to their guests. On the other hand, seeing the controversy growing, Munawar has also apologized by releasing a video. He said that I had no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings at all. Being a stand-up comedian, my job is to make people laugh and not hurt anyone, so if anyone has been hurt by my words, then I apologize to them all.
