Jaipur. The Vigilance Branch of the Municipal Corporation Greater took a major action against temporary encroachment on Monday and charged a caring charge of Rs 59 thousand. Under this campaign, 8 centers and 2 tractor-trolleys were seized and sent to the warehouse.
This action was taken under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Vigilance Ajay Kumar Sharma on the instructions of Rukmani Riyad, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Greater. The team of Vigilance Branch removed temporary encroachments spread in areas like Rico Kanta intersection of Mansarovar, Akshaya Patra Chauraha of Jagatpura to Akshaya Patra Chauraha, Jagatpura Pulia to Capital Mall and Indira Gandhi Nagar Sector-3.
Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar Sharma said that the places where the encroachment was removed, was temporarily put on roadside goods by the stools and hawkers, causing the traffic to be interrupted and the common man was having trouble. The team also explained to the encroachers present on the spot and warned that if encroachment was found in future, heavy fines and strict action would be taken.
This action of the municipal corporation has been appreciated by the local people. The corporation says that such campaigns will continue to continue to maintain traffic system in the city and maintains public places.
