Petlawad (Naiduniya News). In the memory of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq, Muslim society celebrated the festival of pools on Thursday. The festival started after the Fajr prayers on the 22nd of the month of Rajab. People made kheer, puri and other dishes in their homes. After this the verses of Quran Sharif and Fatiha were read from house to house. Hafiz Abdul Qadir Rizvi Sahab told that Hazrat Imam Jafar is related to 12 Imams. He is also related to Hazrat Imam Hussain and Hazrat Hassan Hussain.

In this festival, food is fed in earthen pots, hence it is called the festival of pools. Under this, the name of Imam Jafar Sahab was administered in the houses. A day before the festival, the people were busy in preparation. It is believed that the prayers sought on this day are accepted by Allah. After a month and a half of this festival, the holy month of Ramadan will begin.
enthusiasm all day
In the Muslim-majority area, there was a lot of enthusiasm about the festival among the children, including the elderly, since morning. This went on from house to house throughout the day. Throughout the day, elderly people were seen coming and going to eat the kunda. Children also reached with their respective groups to eat the kunda. After this, people invited their relatives and fed them dishes.
Women made preparations since early morning
Preparations were going on for the festival a day before. The women got up early in the morning and made preparations. Some made kheer-puri and some made many dishes including sweets, gulab jamuns.
The enthusiasm shown at the festival in Ranapur

On this occasion, people made Kheer-Poodi and other dishes in their respective homes in the morning. Those who kept earthen pots decorated in troughs and Fatiha read. Enjoyed the dishes in its earthen pot. There was enthusiasm among the children regarding the festival. The children came to each other’s house to wish each other’s best wishes for the festival and to take the taste of Kheer-Poodi, forming a group of well-groomed people from the morning itself. Along with the children, other people of the society also extended their best wishes. Naved Raza of the society told that Shahzada-e-Rasool is from the generation of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq Imam Hussain. In whose memory the Muslim community celebrates the festival of pools every year on the 22nd of the Islamic month of Rajab.
