Concern is being expressed about Muslims in India
From former US President Barack Obama, industrialist George Soros to RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan have expressed concern over the condition of Muslims in India. Ajit Doval has dismissed such concerns outright. Along with this, such things have been termed as rumours. He blew air of such things by mentioning the population of Muslims in India in front of Al-Isha.
Doval said that in India one can live with complete freedom without any caste-religion and apartheid. He said that India is the country with the second largest Muslim population in the world. This is almost equal to the total population of the 33 member countries of the Islamic Cooperation.
misunderstanding by historians
The NSA said that Islam came to India in the 7th century. It came during the time of Prophet Muhammad. Muslims mixed with Hindus who had deep understanding in India. It created and developed a new society. Historians fail to understand how it brought people together. His focus remained limited to political developments. Referring to the Holy Quran, Ajit Doval said that it inspires everyone to live together. Islam talks about cooperation.
Apart from this, Doval also talked about terrorism. He said that India has been a victim of terrorism for many decades. The country has faced several terrorist attacks including the 2008 Mumbai attack. India is actively working to combat terrorism through various means including strengthening its security.
