Bihar News Desk: To lay the sewerage pipeline, the construction agency cut about 82 km of road, but after the completion of the work, 11 km of road was left unbuilt. Due to this, serious problems are being caused in Shriram Nagar (Daudpur Kothi), Sikandarpur Rani Sati Mandir Road, Shiv Mandir Gali in Prabhat Jarda Factory Area, Scout and Guide Gali, Anupam Colony Main Road and other areas.
The road was cut before the monsoon for the sewerage system and underground main storm drainage project of the smart city. The road cut after pipeline or manhole work was left filled with soil and debris. The residents of the city are suffering the consequences of the negligence of the construction agency. The worst situation is in Sikandarpur. About five months ago, the pipeline was laid by cutting different roads. Before Dussehra, the road cut in Marine Drive Road was pitched, while the main road leading from Sikandarpur Chowk/Ramgarh Chowk to Rani Sati Temple has been left filled with mud and debris.
According to local Jaishankar Gupta, due to the road not being motorable, apart from bikes, scooties, e-rickshaws are meeting with accidents.
