Earlier, the SDO took several decisions in a meeting with Nagar Panchayat Executive Officer Nitish Kumar, CO Santosh Kumar, Police Station Head Rajkumar, MP representative Chandrashekhar Chaudhary, RJD leader Rafi Uzzama, Fruit-Vegetable Vendors Association.
SDO said that under the new system, vegetable and fruit shops will no longer be set up along the main road in Tarapur city. No small or big commercial vehicle will be parked on the road. Vehicles coming up to Tarapur will be parked near Government Bus Stand, Dhoni Bridge and Gandhinagar in front of RS College. A place has been marked for this. All private buses going beyond Tarapur will have to park in the bus stand complex. Toto and auto will have to be parked at the stop site. A space adjacent to the Chaura river bridge near Mohanganj has been allotted for vegetable and fruit vendors.
Gauripur smuggler arrested with foreign liquor
A liquor smuggler has been caught by the East Colony police station. Police have also recovered about 13.89 liters of foreign liquor from the smuggler. The arrested smuggler is Sanjeet Kumar, son of Milo Mandal, resident of Gauripur in Nayaramnagar police station area of Munger. In this regard, SHO BK Singh said that on Gupta information, SI Priyanka Kumari, who was leading the patrol team, conducted a raid near the bridge of Railway Cinema. And after seeing the police, the smuggler tried to run away. The police chased the smuggler and arrested him. During the search, the police recovered 7 bottles of 750 ml foreign liquor, 48 whiskeys and other liquor from a red bag.
