Oppo has shown the world’s fastest charger at MWC 2022. During the demo, Oppo has created history by fully charging the phone with 4500mAh battery in just 9 minutes. Xiaomi has a 120W charger which claims to fill the battery in 17 minutes. Earlier in the Mobile World Congress itself, Realme has introduced 150W SUPERVOOC charging, which claims that the phone’s battery will be charged up to 50 percent in just 5 minutes.
During the demo, Oppo showed the phone with its 4500mAh battery charging from 1% to 100% in just 9 minutes with its 240W charger. Oppo introduced VOOC flash charge in 2014. Along with the new charging technology, Oppo’s new ‘Battery Health Engine’ is also supported. Both Smart Battery Health Algorithm and Battery Healing Technology have been used in this charger. Of these, the Smart Battery Health algorithm tracks the battery’s electric potential in real time. Battery healing technology, on the other hand, optimizes the internal parts of the battery.
