UP BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh has been made Jal Shakti Minister. Discussions are going on for a Brahmin leader to be made the state president in his place. A total of 4 names are running in this race, in which the names of Shrikant Sharma, Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma, Aligarh MP Satish Gautam and Kannauj MP Subrata Pathak are running. All these four leaders come from the Brahmin community. Party leaders say that the state president will be announced within a month. In fact, the civic elections are going to be held in the state at the end of this year, in such a situation, the BJP wants to tighten the screws of the organization.
Vacancy due to many leaders including Dayashankar Singh becoming ministers

Leader of Braj or West Zone can get the command
A party leader says, “Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hails from eastern Uttar Pradesh and is a Kshatriya. Apart from this, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya comes from OBC face and Central UP. Another deputy CM Brajesh Pathak is from Awadh and is a Brahmin. In such a situation, the party can make a leader of western UP as the state president.
