NASA takes us on a breathtaking journey through the universe. NASA brings us panoramic images of the planets, galaxies and the farthest reaches of the universe every day. These glimpses further increase our curiosity about the universe and reveal many wonders of another world beyond ours. Space agency NASA has currently shared amazing pictures of the stormy weather of planet Jupiter on the social media platform Instagram, which you will be surprised to see.
Along with photos of Jupiter, NASA wrote on Instagram, “Storms on Jupiter – the fifth planet from the Sun – churn and swirl in this image captured by our #JunoMission. With no solid surface on the planet, visitors Hurricanes can last for years, decades, or even centuries with winds in excess of 400 mph (643 kph).”

NASA added, “Juno photographed this storm within Jupiter’s iconic banded jet stream as it flew 8,000 miles (13,000 km) above giant clouds of gas. These turbulent jet streams contain ammonia and water. They are traversing the planet’s atmosphere, filled mostly with hydrogen and helium gas.” Images shared by NASA show blue, white and gray clouds and storms swirling in Jupiter’s atmosphere.

Earlier, NASA had shared a breathtaking photo of the Great Red Spot on Jupiter taken by its spacecraft Juno. The photo was taken from about 13,917 km away by Juno, which is exploring the giant planet. The Great Red Spot is a storm that is twice the size of Earth and has existed for over 350 years.
