Ranchi. Ranchi Police has arrested Naxalite Bhikhan Ganjhu, a reward of 10 lakhs. He was the commander of the banned terrorist organization TPC (Third Presentation Committee) and remained the most wanted police force of many districts of Jharkhand. Recently, the police had put up posters in many areas of the state for his arrest. It has been told that on the basis of secret information received by Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha, he was caught by the special police team from Pandara police station area of Ranchi city. Bhikhan Ganjhu was earlier an employee of CCL (Central Coal Fields Limited). He joined TPC while working in CCL. He has also been involved in terror funding case in Magadha-Amrapali coal project of CCL. The National Investigating Agency (NIS), which is probing the terror funding, has also filed a charge sheet against Bhikhan Ganjhu. It was revealed in the NIA investigation that more than 50 AK 47 weapons were purchased by TPC militants of Jharkhand and Bhikhan Ganjhu was involved in this deal. He used to smuggle arms from Nagaland. Recently, the matter of his involvement in the incident of arson in Chatra district’s Tandwa had also come to the fore.
Here the news is that another CPI-Maoist Maoist Mrityunjay Bhuyan has escaped from the old mountain, the stronghold of the Naxalites. It is being told that he too can soon surrender before the Jharkhand Police.
