The case of alleged assault on Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister’s residence seems to be gaining momentum. Today NCW has called Vibhav Kumar of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before the National Commission for Women tomorrow i.e. on 17th May. Taking suo motu cognizance of the case, the women’s panel asked Kumar to appear before it at 11 am on May 17. Let us tell you that Bibhav Kumar has been accused of assaulting AAP MP Swati Maliwal at the CM residence in Delhi. Earlier, BJP raised many questions on Vibhav Kumar being with Kejriwal.

“The National Commission for Women has taken suo motu cognizance of the media post titled “DCW chief Swati Maliwal accuses Arvind Kejriwal’s personal secretary of assaulting her,” NCW said in a letter to Kumar. Rajya Sabha MP and former DCW chief Swati Maliwal has alleged that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s personal secretary brutally assaulted her at the CM’s residence.
“Now therefore, take note that in view of the above the Commission has scheduled a hearing in the matter on 17th 2024 at 11 am in which you will have to appear before the Commission in person.”
Vibhav seen with Kejriwal in Lucknow
Earlier on May 14, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had accepted the attack on Maliwal by Vibhav Kumar at the CM residence. Let us tell you that today Vibhav Kumar was also seen with Arvind Kejriwal in Lucknow. Arvind Kejriwal held a joint press conference with Akhilesh Yadav here. During this time, Vibhav remained sitting in the car and did not come out of the car during the entire press conference. On which BJP raised questions. Also on Wednesday night, Vibhav Kumar was seen at the Lucknow airport with AAP national convenor and Sanjay Singh, days after the party promised “strict action” against him.
