New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is going to hold a meeting today. This meeting will be held in the Central Hall of Parliament. All the newly elected MPs will be present in the meeting. According to sources, the meeting will discuss the formation of government on behalf of NDA. Let us tell you that in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, NDA has won 293 seats and has crossed the majority mark. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony for the third time may take place on Sunday. But this time the road to running the government for BJP may not be easier than last time. Because JDU and TDP are two big parties without which the government cannot be run. In such a situation, the biggest challenge for BJP is to keep its allies happy.
After PM Modi is elected as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party, senior members of the alliance like TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar will meet President Draupadi Murmu and submit the list of MPs supporting her. Sources said PM Modi may take oath on Sunday.

The meeting has been held at JP Nadda’s house
It is worth noting that many big leaders of NDA including Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states and Chandrababu Naidu have reached Delhi on Thursday evening. Earlier, senior BJP leaders including Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh held a meeting throughout the day on Thursday and discussed ways to speed up the efforts to form the government. This meeting was held at the residence of BJP President JP Nadda. During the meeting, there was a long discussion between PM Modi and other leaders. Along with this, there was also brainstorming on the cabinet.
NDA allies eye cabinet
For BJP to stay in the government, Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu will be eyeing the cabinet. A top JDU leader said that the party is eyeing “three” seats in the cabinet. Sources said that the party was reportedly promised three cabinet posts and one minister of state (MOU) post before the elections. Nitish Kumar’s demand for special state status to Bihar is also very long standing. TDP’s Chandrababu Naidu will also strongly present his claim in the cabinet.
