New Delhi. Amid the ongoing controversy over the NEET UG exam, Patna Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) has sent notices to 9 candidates. EOU is investigating the allegations of NEET paper leak. EOU has called all these candidates along with their parents to the office for questioning. EOU officials will question these candidates and their parents about their connection with the solver gang.
The EOU got the information about the mobile numbers and addresses of all these candidates through the admit cards of the students. Earlier, during investigation, the solver gang had roll codes of 13 candidates. Four of them were already arrested by the police. The EOU had sought information about the remaining 9 candidates from the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA is the government body that conducts the NEET paper. After this, the NTA sent the admit cards of these 9 candidates to the EOU. Now the candidates have been called for questioning by sending a notice to the address written on the admit card. On the other hand, due to allegations of corruption in the NEET exam, the students have now come out on the streets. Congress’ student wing NSUI also protested against the rigging in the NEET exam.
Central govt. is committed to protect the interests of NEET examinees. I want to assure the students that all their concerns will be addressed with fairness and equity. No student will be at a disadvantage and no child’s career will be at jeopardy.
