Lakhs of students had to appear for the exam
Let us tell you that the NEET PG exam was to be held on Sunday, June 23 in 292 cities of the country. A total of 2,28,757 candidates have applied for this exam. This includes 1,22,961 male and 1,05,791 female candidates. Apart from this, there are also five transgenders. Those who took the NEET PG exam also include 223 foreign citizens of India, 195 non-OCI and 119 NRIs.
Why was the exam postponed
It has been decided to thoroughly evaluate the robustness of the process of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG) to be conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for medical students. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, it has been decided to postpone the NEET-PG entrance examination to be held on June 23, 2024. ‘The ministry expressed regret in this matter and said that ‘The Ministry of Health regrets the inconvenience caused to the students. This decision has been taken in the best interest of the students and to maintain the sanctity of the examination process.’
When will the exam be held now?

In how many languages is the exam conducted?
While NEET UG exam can be given in 13 languages, NEET PG exam can be given only in English. NEET PG exam is also conducted in computer based mode (CBT). NEET PG exam is of total 800 marks. Candidates are given total time of three and a half hours.
