It was established in the year 2008 under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Its objective is to provide quality medical education to the children of eligible serving army personnel, ex-army personnel, war widows, army widows by awarding MBBS degree. This is a top medical college in North India. Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi and is also recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
How many seats are there in Army College of Medical Sciences
Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) has a total of 100 seats for MBBS and 30 seats for B.Sc. MLT. Out of 100 MBBS seats, 85 seats are reserved for candidates qualifying through All India Quota (AIQ). Apart from this, the remaining 15 seats are reserved for the candidates who qualify under Army quota. B.Sc. For MLT, all 30 seats are filled under Army quota.
