New Delhi (NEET UG 2024 Cut Off). NTA has released the NEET UG answer key. Students can check the NEET UG answer key on NTA’s official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET-UG. A candidate will get admission in a medical college only on the basis of NEET UG cutoff.

NEET UG 2024 Cut Off: What are the types of NEET UG cutoff?
NEET i.e. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test cutoff is of two types. One cutoff of NEET UG is admission cutoff and the other is qualifying cutoff. On the basis of qualifying cutoff marks, it is told that a candidate has passed the NEET exam. At the same time, NEET UG admission cutoff is required at the time of admission in any medical college. Many foreign medical colleges give admission to Indian students on the basis of NEET UG qualifying cutoff.

NEET UG 2024 Cut Off: There is a difference between national and state cutoff
Qualifying cutoff is required to pass the NEET exam but NEET UG admission cutoff is mandatory for admission in the desired college. In many medical colleges, admission is given on the basis of total number of students, highest marks and other factors. The counseling process starts only after the NEET cutoff is released. NEET UG cutoff is released at both national and state level. Please note that the cutoff is also different for different categories.
NEET UG 2024 Cut Off: The cutoff is different for each category
NEET cutoff was higher in 2023 as compared to 2022. This year the cutoff list will be revealed after the release of NEET UG result. Last year the NEET cutoff for General category was 720-137. 136-107 for OBC, SC and ST categories, 136-121 for General PH category, the cut-off for SC, ST, OBC-PH category was around 120 to 107. Let us tell you that there is a difference in NEET UG cutoff every year.
