New Delhi. CBI is taking swift action in the NEET UG paper leak case. CBI has now arrested the mastermind of the NEET UG paper leak case and 2 MBBS students. Earlier, CBI had arrested engineer Pankaj Kumar, who took out the NEET UG paper from the box, and 5 students including a girl student on charges of being solvers. With the latest arrests, CBI has so far arrested 6 MBBS students in the NEET UG paper leak case. The name of the mastermind of the NEET UG paper leak case caught by CBI is Shashi Kumar Paswan. He has done B.Tech from NIT, Jamshedpur.
The two MBBS students arrested by the CBI in the NEET UG paper leak case are named Deependra Kumar Sharma and Kumar Mangalam Bishnoi. Both are studying at Bharatpur Medical College. According to the CBI, technical surveillance has revealed that Bishnoi and Deependra were present in Hazaribagh on the day of the NEET UG exam. Kumar Mangalam Bishnoi and Deependra Kumar Sharma were called to solve the NEET UG paper that Pankaj Kumar had stolen from the box. Pankaj Kumar alias Aditya, arrested in this case, has also studied engineering from NIT Jamshedpur. Rocky, another main accused in the NEET UG case, was also arrested by the CBI recently.
More than 24 accused have been arrested so far in the NEET UG paper leak case, including Bihar and Gujarat. The CBI has arrested MBBS students from Patna AIIMS and Ranchi RIMS since the investigation began. The investigating agency has questioned all of them thoroughly. In the coming time, the investigating agency can arrest many more people. At present, the CBI is rapidly searching for another mastermind Sanjeev Mukhiya. He is also accused of leaking papers of many examinations.
