A new order has been implemented in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Due to which patients coming from every corner of the country may face problems. Especially those people who come to the hospital with money in their pockets but do not have the facility to make payment through smartphone or card, they may have to return hungry from AIIMS.
Let us tell you that 100 percent digital payment system has been implemented in all the cafeterias of AIIMS New Delhi. In all these cafeterias, hospital staff, patients or attendants will not be allowed to make cash payment for whatever food items or food they purchase. Cash payment has been stopped in all these cafeterias.
Director of AIIMS Prof. In the order issued by M Srinivas, it has been said that at the counters of all the cafeterias of AIIMS, payment can be done only through digital mode which includes smart card, UPI, credit card, debit card and phone. He said that despite the earlier order for digital payment, it was seen that cash payment was also being done in many cafeterias.
On behalf of Dr. Srinivas it was said that this is being done to promote cashless environment in the hospital. Apart from all the advanced technology and services, AIIMS Hospital is ready to provide the best quality healthcare facilities. Apart from this, 100 percent digital payment is being done to promote security, transparency and convenience. Therefore, everyone is requested to accept this system and transform it into a better experience.
Regarding this, Dr. Reema Dada of PIC Media Cell says that completely adopting digital payment shows AIIMS’s progressive approach to advanced technology. This will not only increase convenience but will also strengthen the secure payment ecosystem.
