I do not want to take any risk before the Olympics
Neeraj Chopra posted a story on his Instagram account about his decision not to participate in the Ostrava Golden Spike 2024 Athletics Meet, writing that after a recent throwing session, I decided not to play in Ostrava as I felt something in the ‘adductor’ muscle. I have had problems with this before and at this time I do not want to take any risk keeping in mind the Paris Olympics. I want to make it clear that I am not injured but I do not want to take any risk in the Olympic year. This is why I took this decision. After full recovery, I will again participate in the competitions.
