The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Ziauddin Bakawi, a Tamil Nadu resident of Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT), a terrorist organization affiliated to ISIS, who hatched a conspiracy to recruit Muslim youth by radicalisation. He used to trick the youth with the pretext of establishing an Islamic state and enforcing radical religious laws.
An NIA official said HUT used to conduct secret classes to push the youth towards radicalization. In this, he was called upon to establish Islamic rule and implement the Khilafat. He would have been asked to implement a constitution written by HUT founder, radical Islamic cleric Taqi al-Din al-Nabahani.
