New Delhi. Amidst the tension between India and the Trudeau government regarding the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, a new update has come in this matter. Three Indians have been arrested in Canada on charges of Nijjar’s murder. A reaction was also given on this by the Government of India. The Foreign Ministry said that political interests are at work in this matter. India made it clear that separatists and extremists have been given political space in Canada.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India has been informed about the arrests by Canada, but not at the diplomatic level. When asked whether consular access has been granted. To this, Jaiswal only said that in some countries access is not granted unless the arrested person or people specifically request it.

No relevant evidence was given…
Diplomatic relations between India and Canada have been strained since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed in Parliament in September last year that he had credible evidence of the role of Indian government agents in Nijjar’s murder. Asked if any evidence has been provided linking India to the murder, Jaiswal said, “Let me first make it clear that no specific or relevant evidence or information has been shared by the Canadian authorities to date in relation to this case.” Has been done. So you will understand our view that the matter is pre-determined. Obviously, political interests are at work. “We have long said that separatists, extremists and those who advocate violence deserve political space in Canada.”
Our diplomats were threatened…
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Jaiswal said, “Our diplomats have been threatened with impunity and have been hindered in the performance of their duties. We have also informed Canadian authorities that people associated with organized crime linked to India have been granted entry and residence permission in Canada. “We have several extradition requests pending, we are discussing all these matters at the diplomatic level.” Edmonton residents Karan Brar, 22, Kamalpreet Singh, 22, and Karanpreet Singh, 28, were arrested last week on suspicion of being part of the hit squad that killed Nijjar.
