Nissan India has launched the Red Edition of its popular compact SUV Nissan Magnite in the domestic market of the country. The company has built the Nissan Magnite Red Edition on the XV trim of this SUV, with which three variants and two color options have been given.
The company has launched the SUV with a starting price of Rs 7.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Its second variant Turbo MT XV Red Edition starts at Rs 9.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The starting price of its third variant Turbo CVT XV Red Edition is Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the look and feel of the Nissan Magnite Red Edition, it gets red accents on the front grille, new bumper cladding, wheel arches, and body side cladding.
In its interior, the company has given red color lining with dashboard, door side armrest and center console, according to the theme of this SUV. Apart from this, a glimpse of this red edition can be seen on the graphics, tail doors and certain parts of the SUV.
Also, the company has added 16-inch attractively designed alloy wheels, LED fog lamps and DRLs to make this Red Edison special.
Talking about the features given in the Nissan Magnite Red Edition, apart from the connectivity of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, it has an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with WiFi connectivity. With this, features like 7.0-inch TFT instrument cluster, rear view camera, push button start, ambient lighting, vehicle dynamic control, traction control, brake assist, and hill start assist have been given.
Talking about the engine and power of Nissan Magnite Red Edition, it has been given a 1.0 liter petrol engine. Which has been introduced in variants of naturally aspirated and turbocharged.
Its 1.0 naturally aspirated petrol engine generates power of 71 bhp and peak torque of 91 Nm. The turbocharged engine generates 98 Bhp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. With both these engines, the company has given the option of 5 speed manual and CVT transmission.
In the compact SUV segment, the Nissan Magnite Red Edition competes with popular SUVs like Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
