Tonk. Niwai police station took major action as part of the campaign to ban illegal gravel mining and transportation. Police seized two tractor-trolleys, which were filled with illegal gravel. On the orders of Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan, under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Brijendra Singh Bhati, and under the supervision near the Deputy Superintendent Mrityunjaya Mishra. Two teams were formed under the leadership of Thanadikari Ramjilal. Both teams increased patrolling and surveillance in the area. It was reported from the informer that illegal gravel was being transported in village Sidra. The police team reached the spot as soon as the information was received. After some time, two tractor trolley looked filled with gravel. Seeing the police, the drivers left the tractor trolley and escaped by taking them under the guise of acacia.
Police seized both tractor trolleys from the spot. Both vehicles were of Mahindra DI model without number. Different cases have been registered under the MMDR Act by bringing the tractor trolley to the police station. The search for the vehicle owner and drivers continues.
The first team included Sauni Laxman Singh, Constable Captain, Chetan and Jitendra Singh. The second team included head constable Babulal, Constable Manoj, Mukesh, Rampul, Sunil and driver Manoj. Sauni Laxman Singh played an important role in this action.
