The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Ajay Parashar in Sonepat, Haryana has convicted the deceased’s brother and nephew in the case of Taylor’s murder and both have been sentenced to life imprisonment. After a minor quarrel in Kot locality, the nephew along with his father attacked Tau with a rod (iron pipe) and killed him. Tau’s son had a debate and scuffle between the youth. The incident was carried out in this rivalry. On March 17, 2022, on the day of Holi, Amit, a resident of Kot Mohalla, told the police that his father Rakesh (47) used to work to sew clothes at home. He told that he went out of the house on the evening of 16 March 2022. There he had a dispute over a minor matter with his cousin Rohit.
After this, there was a scuffle between the two. At this he came to his house. Amit had told that late night he was in his room below and his father Rakesh was lying on the roof above. Then Rohit came to his house with his father Satyavan with a rod in his hand. He threatened them that they would enjoy the fight. At this he had closed the door of his room in defense. After this, uncle and cousin went to the roof through the stairs. Then he heard his father’s scream. When he went up and saw Rohit was attacking his father Rakesh with a rod.
Amit had told that after Rohit ran towards him after going to the roof, he ran out of the roof for rescue and ran out. After this, the attacker also fled. His grandfather Ramkumar and other family members rushed his injured father to the civil hospital. Where his father was declared dead. The police had registered a case of murder against Amit’s statement against his uncle Satyavan and cousin Rohit.
The police team took action and arrested both the accused in the case. The weapon used in the incident was recovered from him and sent to jail on the order of the court. Now after hearing the case, ASJ Ajay Parashar’s court has convicted the accused father and son. The court sentenced both of them to life imprisonment in the murder case and a fine of Rs 10,000 and three years imprisonment for assault on the house and a fine of Rs 5,000. Both decorating will run together.
Holi’s happiness turned into mourning
Along with Amit’s family of Kot Mohalla, people around were also preparing for Holi festival. However, Rakesh’s murder caused mourning in the area. In a minor dispute, the talk of eradicating blood relations was on everyone’s tongue. Rakesh has four children. In which two daughters Daya and Manisha are married. They have two sons Amit and Sumit. Rakesh’s murder raised the shadow of the father from the heads of four children.
