Nomadism: A trip to the island nation of Norway, the cold of Stockholm and the evening of Paris

Pankaj Bhargava is a well-known TV journalist and news anchor. He has explored many countries of the world in search of news. From this very search a picture has emerged in the form of a book- ‘Khanaabadoshiyan’. Actually, Pankaj also travels a lot in search of news. Pankaj along with his group of friends reached Norway, the country of greenery and museums, while roaming around in Norway. While roaming in Norway, he comes across the culture and civilization there and documents them. ‘Khanaabadoshiyan: Yaaron Sang Tafrih’ is Pankaj’s first book and it has been published by Vani Prakashan.

While turning the pages of Khanmadhiyaan, you will feel the chill of the cold winds rising from the snowy country along with the light fragrance of the lush green valleys here. The book has been written in such a way that while reading it, the reader will start walking in the streets of Norway with a bag on his back.

Pankaj writes in the book about Norway- Norway is an interesting country, about which I already knew a lot. But after seeing it, I became crazy about it. My interest in it increased further. The pleasant atmosphere here prevents you from going back from here. The greenery, mountains and snow here captivate you. There are thousands of islands in Norway which add to its beauty. There are many islands here where no one lives for many years. The government takes care of these islands. This is the reason why greenery can be seen in 70 percent of Norway. As interesting as its islands are,
There are natural views and equally interesting public places. You will find free swimming facilities at many places here. In summers, you will see people enjoying outside their homes. However, we could not enjoy it. Because we could not even think about it in the cold of February. If you see someone jumping into the water from their balcony here in summers, then you do not need to be afraid. Because here the flowing water between the apartments is more useful for this purpose in summers.

Norway’s nightlife attracts tourists like us. The people of Norway also spend their lives enjoying themselves. These people work only a few hours a week and give a lot of importance to living life. On the other hand, we Indians spend our lives in work and shifts. This is the specialty of European countries, here nature and humanity are given a lot of importance. Here you will even see women driving buses and trains. The girls who work in night clubs also get full respect.

both heaven and hell
If there is heaven in Norway, there is also hell. Why are you surprised? Isn’t it an interesting country? There is a small city called Hell in Norway. This place also attracts tourists. Because there are forests all around here and it is said that strange sounds are heard here. We were not interested in hell, we had come to see heaven, so we did not go here.

Tromso does not stop even after heavy snowfall in winter. However, so much snow falls here that the biggest headache for people is to remove snow from the roads and vehicles. During this time, winter tyres and spikes are used in vehicles here, so that vehicles can run easily in snow. At many places, heating systems are installed on the sides or below the roads.

While travelling in Norway on a nomad tour, you quickly jump to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. And then after spending two nights in Sweden, the journey continues towards Copenhagen in Denmark and then you reach Paris. Now you will have to flip through the pages of the book to find out what you see and how you feel in Sweden, Copenhagen and Paris.
