A leaked report has surfaced about Realme’s 300W fast charging technology. Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared information about Realme’s fast charging technology on microblogging platform Weibo. It is being claimed in the report that the Chinese brand can use this fast charging technology in Realme GT 7 Pro. This flagship smartphone of Realme can be launched at the end of this year.
0 to 50 percent charging will be done in 3 minutes
According to the information shared by the tipster, Realme’s next phone will be IP69 rated, due to which water and dust will not have any effect on the phone. This phone can have a 300W wired charging feature, with the help of which it will take only 3 minutes to charge the phone’s battery from 0 to 50 percent. At the same time, it will take 5 minutes for the phone to be fully charged from 0.
Realme’s Global Marketing Director Francis Wong recently confirmed in a video interview that the brand is working on 300W fast charging technology. However, Realme has previously used 240W fast charging technology in its GT Neo 5. This phone has a 4,600mAh battery. It takes 80 seconds for the phone to charge from 0 to 20 percent. At the same time, it takes only 10 minutes for the phone to be fully charged.
Redmi is also bringing 300W charging technology
Apart from Realme, rival brand Redmi has already demonstrated 300W fast charging technology. It has been used in the Discovery Edition of Redm 12. This fast charging technology takes less than 5 minutes to charge a 4,100mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent.
