In this innings for England, while Chris Woakes took 4 wickets, Gus Atkinson and Shoaib Bashir also managed to take 2-2 wickets each.

The second innings of the host team also did not have a good start in this match in which they lost their first wicket at a score of 8. After this, the pair of Ben Duket and Ollie Pope brought the team back in the match by sharing 119 runs for the second wicket, but Duket returned to the pavilion after scoring 76 runs while Ollie Pope scored 51 runs. England had lost their 3 wickets till the score of 140.
