There is a steady increase in the demand for electric vehicles in the country, especially in the two-wheeler segment, people are taking more interest. In order to reduce the dependence of people on conventional fuel, the government is also giving huge subsidy etc. on the purchase of electric vehicles. But despite all this, questions keep arising in the minds of most people regarding the charging infrastructure of electric vehicles. But now taking a big decision, Indian Oil has announced to start about 10,000 charging stations across the country for electric vehicles.
IndianOil has recently said in a statement that it has installed more than 1,000 charging stations across the country. V. This will provide a seamless drive to the customers as well as help the automobile manufacturers to increase the production of electric vehicles.” Now people will not have to worry about the charging of their electric vehicles. Customers will be able to easily charge the vehicle from their home or office and will also be able to charge the vehicles easily at this charging station if needed.
Now Highways will be E-Highway:

The Corporation has launched ‘Zero Emission Electric Mobility’, a hybrid microgrid enabled clean energy EV charging facility, at IndianOil’s SBT Fuel Station, Neelamangala, Bangalore. The facility, developed and patented by Hygge Energy, ensures that charging is primarily done using solar energy, thus ensuring zero-emissions e-mobility. Apart from EV charging, the solution provides a platform to perform multiple tasks including energy monitoring, energy optimization and revenue monitoring from a single platform.
