Amidst speculations that he would join BJP after meeting CM Yogi Adityanath, Shivpal Singh Yadav has said that now is not the right time. Wait for the right time.
Shivpal Singh Yadav, who went to the annual festival of a private school in Lucknow on Thursday, while answering the questions of the media, said that nothing is there yet. He said that whenever a decision is taken, he will tell. He said that now is not the right time. Wait for the right time. After this Shivpal left in his car.
It is being told that Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PSP) chief Shivpal Singh Yadav, who formed his own party before the 2017 assembly elections, is so hurt by the disappointment he got from nephew Akhilesh Yadav in the recently concluded elections that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ready to go. By the way, Shivpal’s displeasure started about 6 years ago when the reins of SP came out of the hands of Mulayam Singh Yadav and went to Akhilesh Yadav.
As Mulayam’s SP chief, Shivpal always remained in the number two position in the SP. He was respected. But after the SP’s command came in the hands of Akhilesh, due to lack of respect, these distances increased. Shivpal’s political house has become alien. He tried to prepare his own ground by forming Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PRSP), but could not get much success.
Due to political compulsions, Shivpal Yadav once again accepted Akhilesh’s support in the assembly elections. At the behest of elder brother Mulayam Singh Yadav, he agreed to an alliance with the nephew. But the way Akhilesh Yadav did not give even a single seat to his party and forced him to fight on the SP symbol, the Praspa chief was deeply hurt. Shivpal felt humiliated even when he was not invited to the meeting of the SP Legislature Party.
Speculation intensified after meeting with CM yesterday
If Shivpal was not invited to the SP meeting, he himself did not attend Akhilesh’s meeting with the allies. Instead he went to Delhi that day to meet his elder brother and SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav. Yesterday Shivpal met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Since then, speculation has intensified in the political circles about his joining the BJP.
