Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar’s troubles may increase further. Delhi Police has made a new claim in the court in the case of assault on Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal. Police has called it a barbaric attack and said that it is investigating the big conspiracy behind the attack. Police has also claimed that after the attack on Maliwal, Bibhav Kumar and Arvind Kejriwal were present together at the Chief Minister’s official residence for a long time. This may lead to the heat of investigation reaching the Chief Minister of Delhi.
Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar is currently in judicial custody. He is accused of attacking Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal at the CM residence on May 13. Delhi Police arrested him and sent him to jail. Now the police has presented a charge sheet. In this, Maliwal’s statement in the Delhi High Court has been made the basis. It has been said that on July 10, the hearing on Bibhav Kumar’s bail was going on in the Delhi High Court. Maliwal was also present there then. She recorded her statement, in which she said that the way all the leaders and workers of Aam Aadmi Party came in support of the accused against one of their own MPs, it shows that there was a big conspiracy behind the attack. Delhi Police should get to the bottom of this conspiracy.

The chargesheet states that Maliwal’s statement is very important in the investigation because after the incident, two responsible people of the Aam Aadmi Party backtracked from what they had said publicly. The statements of 50 witnesses have been recorded in the chargesheet of about 500 pages. It was filed in a Delhi court on July 16 and the court took cognizance of it on July 30. Now her statements have come to light.
The chargesheet states that the investigation revealed that after the incident, the accused Bibhav Kumar and the Chief Minister were present together at the CM residence for a long time. The statements of the officers present there also need to be investigated, so that it can be ascertained whether there was a big conspiracy behind this. Delhi Police said in the chargesheet, selected footage of CCTV cameras were leaked to the media even before confiscating them. Because of this, it is very important to investigate the whole matter seriously to find out if there is any big and deep conspiracy behind this. A team led by a DCP level officer is investigating the case.
