New Delhi. After doctors from all over the country, lawyers have also come out on the streets to protest against the rape and murder of a female trainee doctor in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. The lawyers of Calcutta High Court took out a protest march today demanding justice for the victim, in which a large number of women lawyers were also present. The lawyers said that we want the CBI to arrest all the accused involved in this case as soon as possible and give them severe punishment. On the other hand, the BJP has surrounded West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on this matter.

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia said that there is a Mamta Banerjee, whom everyone has named Nirmata Banerjee today. She can stand with the criminals, who was the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and whose responsibility it was to protect all the girl students. Forget taking action against him, she rewards him. She destroys the identity of a woman, she destroys the provisions of the Constitution which she has sworn to protect and she destroys the important facts and evidence related to this case.

Bhatia said that our sister against whom this heinous crime has been committed was brave. She fought to save her identity but Mamata Banerjee’s stick of law was missing. As a responsible citizen and a spokesperson of BJP, I want to ask Mamata Banerjee that why are you being called a destroyer of evidence after the reports that are coming out? The BJP spokesperson said that when this heinous crime happened, why did you not take immediate action and transfer this case to CBI? Let us tell you that this morning, West Bengal Governor C.V. Anand Bose had targeted Mamata Banerjee and said that Bengal is not a safe place for women.
