Electric Hero Splendor : Looking at the increasing speed of electric vehicles in the country, it is not difficult to guess that the future of vehicles will be electric. While buying only an EV was an option till now, you can now convert your old petrol vehicle to electric instead.
High-profile cities like Delhi NCR have started banning old petrol and diesel vehicles, although the government is giving the option of converting your old vehicle to electric. The EV kit maker oGoA1 is under NGT (National Green Tribunal) compliance, and is manufacturing the conversion kit for Hero Splendor, the country’s most popular bike.
how much will it cost
While converting your old Splendor into an EV is said to cost you Rs 35,000 by this Maharashtra-based firm, the electric Splendor with this kit gives a driving range of around 151 km. The company offers an RTO approved electric conversion kit for motorcycles, and is said to have increased the demand by around 60 per cent.

Company with more than 50 franchises
The GoGoA1 company is currently working on battery-powered petrol-powered two, three and four-wheelers, according to the report. The company has more than 50 registered units in several parts of the country in states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal and Delhi. There are more franchises. Owners opting for a franchise are provided with options such as setting up a conversion kit and swapping out the battery.
