Mandeep Singh: Indian batsman Mandeep Singh has announced his separation from Punjab Cricket Association. He played cricket for 14 years for Punjab team in domestic cricket. Announcing his decision on Instagram, Mandeep Singh wrote that my journey with Punjab from junior level to senior level has been fantastic. I was fortunate that the team won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the 2023-24 season under my captaincy. But after much thought, I felt that now the time has come to start a new chapter of my career and hence I have decided to play for Tripura in the next domestic season. I would like to appreciate PCA Secretary Dilsher Khanna, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh for their continued support over the years. I would also like to thank the members of the PCA management and the staff who have been with me over the years.
