Now women will not get HIV infection! Scientists have prepared a medicine to protect against AIDS

AIDS 100 Percent Protection Shot: A big claim has been made about HIV AIDS in a recent study. According to the scientists who conducted the research, the injection that protects women 100% from HIV infection has proved successful in the trial. This HIV medicine can work like a vaccine. Scientists say that by getting this injection once in two years, women can be completely protected from HIV/AIDS. This injection was tested on more than 5 thousand women in South Africa and Uganda, which was very successful.

The Guardian’s Report According to the US drug manufacturer Gilead, this drug named Sunlenca has been developed. This drug has been approved for the treatment of HIV in the US, Canada, Europe and elsewhere. The company says that it is waiting for the results of the trials conducted on men before seeking permission to use this HIV drug. A group included in this study was also given daily prevention pills to protect against HIV, but despite taking these pills, 2% of the women fell prey to HIV.

At present, the first year’s cost of Lenacapavir, a drug used for the treatment of HIV, is about Rs 35 lakh, while the company has set a target of bringing the cost of the new drug to just $40 (about Rs 3350). If this drug is 100% successful in protecting men from AIDS like women, then it will be considered revolutionary in the world. Till now, most people use daily prevention pills, condoms and other things to avoid HIV. While some medicines are used only for the treatment of HIV, but cannot prevent AIDS.

Health experts believe that if this injection is made available in countries with the highest HIV infection rate, the AIDS epidemic can be prevented. Many scientists have appealed to the AIDS drug manufacturing company to keep its price low so that this medicine can reach everyone and people can avoid HIV infection. Every year a large number of people in the world lose their lives due to AIDS and no vaccine has been made for it till now. However, now after the arrival of this injection, new hope has arisen.

of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Report According to the WHO, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system. HIV targets the body’s white blood cells, which weakens the immunity. Due to this, people easily fall prey to diseases like TB, infection and some cancers. When HIV infection becomes severe, it turns into Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). HIV spreads through the body fluids of an infected person, which includes blood, breast milk, semen and fluid from the private part.
