Dehradun: Today, men and women work to fulfill their needs. They have to sit on a chair in the office for 8-9 hours. In such a situation, it is normal for them to have back pain, but if this back pain lasts for a long time, it can take a very serious form. Therefore, to get relief from this, you can do some easy exercises in between work in the office.
Physiotherapist told about back pain
Physiotherapist Dr Rohit Pawar of Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, while giving information to Local 18, said that in today’s time, almost every third person works sitting in the office. At the same time, it is common to have back pain and muscle pain due to working continuously sitting in the same position, but sometimes this pain also takes the form of a serious disease.
One in 100 people has to undergo surgery
The doctor said that one out of every 20 people suffering from back pain has a serious problem and one out of 100 people needs surgery. He said that earlier people or drivers used to have problems of cervical, back pain and sciatica after growing old, but nowadays due to wrong lifestyle and working on computer for hours, these problems have started occurring in the youth also.
Bring flexibility in muscles in this way
In such a situation, there is a need to make some changes in your lifestyle and habits. In between work, a person should take out 5 minutes of time to take a walk. Also, one should keep changing his position every half an hour, so that the muscles become flexible and there is no pain.
Do these easy exercises in the office
Dr. Rohit Pawar explains that some exercises can be done easily while sitting in the office, such as-
1- Bend your neck towards one shoulder and press that side with your hand and stretch your neck. Do this for 10 seconds and then repeat the same process on the other side as well.
2- Similarly, put both hands behind your head and push your head backwards and then push it forward with your hands. This will not only solve your neck problem but also your headache problem.
3- Take both your hands backwards and keep them bent backwards for a few seconds. Similarly, keep moving forward for a few seconds as well.
4- Rotate the neck clockwise and anticlockwise for 10-10 seconds.
5- Sit with your hip joint straight. Apart from this, keep something behind your waist for support so that you feel comfortable.
6- Use a computer table and chair according to your height and convenience. Keeping your feet on the floor causes more fatigue. Therefore, use a foot rest as well.
