NSA Doval talked to Sheikh Hasina for more than 1 hour, then PM Modi’s high-level meeting

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting at his official residence regarding the political situation in Bangladesh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with many other top officials attended this high-level important meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security chaired by PM Modi.

In the meeting, it was revealed that National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will brief Prime Minister Modi about his meeting with Sheikh Hasina who had come to India. At the same time, it is being said that the meeting will also discuss the latest political situation in Bangladesh and the ongoing violence there.

Let us tell you that, after the political situation worsened and violence in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left the country. After the violent atmosphere, Sheikh Hasina left the country in an army plane and came to India. Her plane landed at Hindon Airbase in Ghaziabad near Delhi.

Diplomatic sources told PTI that India has decided to allow Hasina’s plane to pass safely through Indian airspace following Dhaka’s request. Indian government sources said New Delhi is keeping a close watch on the fast-changing developments in Dhaka.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met Sheikh Hasina at Hindon Airbase. The situation in Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina’s future plans were also discussed in the meeting that lasted for more than an hour. Sheikh Hasina may go to London or any other European country.

According to sources in security agencies, Sheikh Hasina’s plane is being refuelled. Sheikh Hasina’s plane may leave for London at around 1 am. Sheikh Hasina is present in the plane, where Indian officials have met her. It is also being decided which other members of Sheikh Hasina’s family will accompany her to London.
