In protest against the NEET UG exam 2024 paper leak, a large number of youth workers of Congress and members of the National Students Union of Congress (NSUI) gathered at Jantar Mantar in Delhi today and protested. During this, some activists also tried to surround the residence of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Not only this, the agitated activists entered the office of the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organization conducting the NEET exam, and first raised slogans against the government there and later locked the office.

The police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse these activists. Some protesters were also injured in this lathicharge. The police have also detained some protesters. According to the police, there is no permission to protest after 5 pm at Jantar Mantar, but the protesters were not ready to leave from there, due to which some people had to be detained. The protesters are demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the closure of institutions like NTA and re-conducting of NEET exam.
