How to make makhana kheer?

If you are also a devotee of Lord Shiva and keep a fast for Bholenath in Sawan, then you can definitely try this recipe. To please Mahadev, you can offer him makhana kheer as bhog. Let’s know about a very easy recipe to make makhana kheer. You will not need too many things to make this kheer.

First step- To make makhana kheer, first of all put a big spoon of ghee in a pan and fry about two and a half cups of makhana thoroughly.

Second step- Now grind half of these makhanas finely in a mixer. After this, put a big spoon of ghee in a pan and fry 8 chopped cashews for about four minutes.

Third step- Now you have to add the remaining half makhanas in one litre milk and boil it on low flame.

Fourth step- You have to boil the milk till it remains three-fourths. Keep in mind that you have to keep stirring the milk continuously.

Fifth step- Now after the makhana becomes soft, you can add 6 spoons of sugar, saffron and half a teaspoon of cardamom powder to this milk.

Sixth step- Mix everything well and cook for about 5 minutes and then turn off the gas.

Your makhana kheer bhog is ready. Believe me, you will like the taste of this prasad made for Bholenath. You should definitely try this very easy recipe of makhana kheer in this month of Sawan.
