Chandigarh Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi said that officers and employees must take time out for yoga or walk every morning so that they remain mentally and physically healthy. The Chief Secretary was addressing the program and officers of Haryana Civil Secretariat Chandigarh on the occasion of 11th International Yoga Day at the Haryana residence here today. Anurag Rastogi, while motivating the employees and officers to do yoga, said that doing yoga provides immense power and energy. This also increases the ability to work in the office. Giving congratulations and best wishes to everyone on International Yoga Day, he said that yoga keeps health well and happiness and prosperity comes in the family.
Earlier, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi lit the lamp and launched the program. Employees and officials present at the beginning of the program heard and saw the address of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi from the nation level program held at Visakhapatnam and the address of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini was heard live on LED screen from the state level program held in Kurukshetra. Subsequently, Consultant Rajesh Sharma of Yoga Commission made all the people present practiced “Common Yoga Protocol”.
The program organized on the occasion was attended by Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Saket Kumar, KM Pandurang, Director General of Information, Public Relations and Language Department, Dr. Aditya Dahiya, Director of Department of Future, Dr. Priyanka Soni, Special Secretary, Department of Vigilance, Information, Public Relations and Language Department Additional Director (Administration) Varsha Khangwal, Special Secretary of the Establishment of Secretariat and other officers and employees were present.
