This is the second day in a row that the Delhi Education Minister’s surprise inspection is going on in government schools. Earlier on Monday also, he had reached Delhi schools for surprise inspection. On Tuesday, he made a surprise visit to RSKV D-Block Jahangirpuri and checked the progress of various educational activities going on in the school like EMC, Happiness Curriculum, Patriotic Curriculum, Reading Campaign etc. and also discussed with the children about their studies. Sisodia took strong exception to the laxity in the cleanliness system in the school.
During this, Sisodia asked the girl students in class 11 about the benefits of EMC classes, then the children told that EMC and business blasters have given us the idea that we should not run after jobs, but to become job providers. Inspired to learn something new by taking risks.
Sisodia also supervised the reading campaign going on in the school in class 7 where children were learning languages through role-playing. Responding to the questions raised by the Deputy Chief Minister on Happiness Curriculum and Mindfulness, the children said that doing mindfulness in the first period every day calms the mind and keeps the mind engaged in studies and other activities throughout the day. Some children reported that they practice mindfulness at home on holidays other than school. Along with this, the children told that through the Patriotic Curriculum, we are learning that our country is affected in some way or the other by our every small and big action.
