Ola Electric recently launched the Ola S1 and S1 Pro range of electric scooters in the domestic market. Now as the date of delivery of these scooters is approaching, the company has also increased the production at its plant. Ola is going to start the deliveries of its electric scooter S1 and S1 Pro from 15th December.
Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal today shared details about the production of the S1 and Ola S1 Pro. Last week, he thanked interested buyers for their patience while announcing the new date of delivery. Now Bhavish has shared the picture of the production of vehicles on the social networking site Twitter saying, “Nothing can be more beautiful than a production line running at full speed!”
Let us tell you that the company is producing these scooters at its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. Both these scooters were launched for sale in the month of August last and interested customers can book it from the company’s official website for just Rs 499. Earlier, the company has started test rides of the scooters in select cities of the country, which include Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai and Pune.
Price and Range of Ola Electric Scooter:
The price of the base model S1 of Ola has been fixed at Rs 99,999 and the price of premium model S1 Pro has been fixed at Rs 1,29,999. This price includes FAME II subsidy, while the subsidy given by the state government is not included in it. The company claims that this scooter gives a driving range of up to 181 km on a single charge and its top speed is 115 km per hour. In the case of pick-up too, this scooter is very great, these scooters can catch the speed of 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds.
