During this period, four youths named Rahul Gurjar (25), Akshay Khuchandani (25), Dhruv Suhalka (21) and Mahim Chaudhary (20) were present there, who were in a drunken state. He started obscene acts from Chanok. When Chanok protested, Rahul Gurjar took out the pistol and shot him, which got near his ribs.

After the incident, the young man got nervous and took the woman to the nearest hospital. However, after this he escaped from the spot. The woman’s condition remains critical and has been referred to the district hospital, where she is still struggling between life and death in the hospital.

Police arrested all four

The Superintendent of Police said that the accused were produced in the court, from where they have been sent to jail in judicial custody. The police have registered a case under several sections including tampering, attempt to murder, weapons act.
