Tonk. The program of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with pomp in Dev Chowk of Shri Devnarayan Gurjar Hostel Tonk, in which the devotees gathered late in the night to see the beautiful staging of Dahi Handi, Kalia Dahi, Krishna Sudama friendship. In the temple complex, the painter Mahesh Gurjar was decorated with the Jhulan tableau of Shri Krishna. The program was started by lighting a lamp in front of Shri Krishna’s picture by the visiting guests. The artists of Lok Kala Mandal Dhola Maru got a lot of applause from their amazing arts.
Guruji Kesar Lal started the cultural hymn evening with a plate dance. Famous folk dance artists Suresh Rao, Bharat Gurjar, Bhavani, Vinod, Sevaram Poswal flute player Himanshu and Dholak player Dheeraj etc. captivated the people with their wonderful dances.
