Prakash Jain Chaplot, Bhilwara. District Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu for the last several days on receiving complaints of recovery of more than the rates fixed by e-Mitra kiosks in the district and city, on the instructions of the District Collector, the two parties constituted by the Department of Information Technology and Communications, Bhilwara, conducted a surprise inspection of several e-Mitra kioscos operated in the city. Joint Director Pawan Nankani said that many e-Mitra kiosko was charged with the rate list of services, not having co-grained banner and taking more than the prescribed amount and not wearing ID cards, five e-Mitra kiosk operators were charged as per rules. During the inspection, ACP Navneet Kumar Somani, programmer Zakir Ahmed Qazi, Manoj Kumar Dhakad, Assistant Programmer Shanti Swaroop Jinagar and Information Assistant Niranjan Khoiwal were present.
A plan has been taken out by the Municipal Development Trust to allocate plots through lottery in the city. In this scheme, about one lakh forms have been sold by the Trust so far. Caste-Hul Niwas certificate has been sought in all forms, in such a situation, there is a huge crowd of people making caste-mull certificates on the e-Mitra kiosko of the city. People are making caste-mull residence certificates in the lineno. E-Mitra kiosk operators are charging this matter higher than the prescribed rate.
According to information received from sources, many e-Mitra kiosk operators have met the babus working in the tehsil office. Due to which certificates are issued immediately to those paying more fees.
